TABS Motion Battery Replacement

How to Replace the Battery on a TABS Motion Sensor

  1. Remove battery cover using a tool such as a trim remover, flathead screwdriver or similar.

  2. Identify the top cover clip, insert the tool and gently pry it until it releases.

  3. In the gap open to the right of the notch, insert the tool under the top cover and lever it off.

  4. Remove the battery.

  5. Insert new battery, ensuring correct orientation with + & - terminals.

  6. LED should momentarily flash blue.

  7. Replace the top cover and snap it shut.

Tip: Check the spring is present inside the battery housing; these can become dislodged.
